Yes. The core (expenses, custody calendar, messaging, rules, child profiles) is free forever, with no credit card. Optional Premium adds receipts, exports, and more for €4.99/month.

How does expense splitting work?

Log an expense, choose any split ratio (50/50, 70/30, or custom), and KidShare keeps a running balance of who owes whom. You can attach receipts and turn on an approval step.

Do both parents need the app?

KidShare works best when both parents join. You invite your co-parent by email and each of you gets a free account. You can start alone and invite them later.

Is my family's data private?

Yes. Data travels over HTTPS, access is limited to your family, and we never sell personal data. It is stored in the EU, in Ireland. The privacy policy has the full details.

What does Premium cost?

€4.99/month, cancel anytime. It adds receipt uploads, recurring expenses, calendar sync, documented mode, and PDF/CSV export.

Can I use KidShare records for court or mediation?
